She'Meka Ann was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but raised in Richmond, Virginia.

Since birth dancing has been apart of She'Meka's life, however growing up she was not fortunate enough to study dance. While a senior in high school, She'Meka was blessed with a handsome baby boy. You can only imagine the daily struggles of being a teen mom. Which forced her to take a sabbatical from everything except for being a mother and academics. Nevertheless, because of that focal point of succeeding academically, it landed her back in her birth state, attending Albany State University.

Enrolling at Albany State University was one of the best decisions she could've made. It was the start of her dancing journey and actual training. She created a name for herself in the dance community at Albany State. She was apart of numerous organizations such as dance captain for the basketball dance team to dancing for the Mighty Rams Show Band. Which landed her, her very first professional gig. Performing at the MTV's Video Music Awards with artist Robin Thicke and Miley Cyrus.

After booking her first professional gig, She'Meka made a life-changing decision to move to Atlanta, Georgia to train at Gotta Dance Atlanta Studios. This one decision changed her life forever.

Since moving to Atlanta she has had the pleasure of dancing for Bad Boy Entertainment, Kendrick Lamar, 2 Chainz, and many more. She booked her first film "Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk" and choreographed for artists such as Young Joc and B. Simone.
